All Parents Should Take Youth Protection Training

For any Scout Parent — especially if you want to become an Adult Volunteer — the first thing you need to do — even before filling out a BSA Adult Volunteer Application — is to take Youth Protection training at myscouting.scouting.org, the BSA’s online training center.

Youth Protection Training covers how scout leaders and parents deal with children for the protection of all involved. Our goal at Pack 46 is to get EVERY parent to take the Youth Protection training so that you all know how we deal with your children and why we do it that way.

Once you take Youth Protection, you can apply to be an Adult Volunteer and do other training, many of which are available online.
