When: Thursday, July 5 through Sunday, July 8
Where: Camp Orr (near Jasper, Arkansas)
Early Bird Application deadline is June 15! Price goes up $10 and you don’t get a shirt after that date, but you can still sign up!
Beautiful Camp Orr will be the site for this exciting camping experience! Sleep in the wall tents just like the Boy Scouts do at summer camp and enjoy this rugged Ozark setting coupled with a great Cub Scout theme celebrating the life of our nation’s settlers during the Colonial times.
Camp will feature a BB gun and archery range, water activities, Colonial crafts like paper making and quill pens, plenty of games and more! Plus earn advancements throughout the week!
VOLUNTEERS AND PARENT ATTENDANCE: We will need AT LEAST one leader for every 4 Scouts that attends. We have 3 already confirmed. If you would like to attend with your Cub Scout, you need to take Youth Protection Training at myscouting.org and send your completion certificate to Cubmaster Steven Jarvis before Resident Camp (preferably before July 1). If you want your Cub Scout to attend WITHOUT a parent, you need the permission of Cubmaster Steven Jarvis, who will talk to you and your Cub Scout’s den leader before making a final decision.
REGISTRATION: Deadline to sign up without paying a late fee is June 15. You can download the PDF registration form here. Registration for Resident Camp goes directly to the Council, NOT to the Pack. See the registration form for address, etc.
Note: There is NO program for siblings at Resident Camp. Siblings are allowed (see registration form for costs), but there MUST be a parent watching them at ALL times. NO sibling can attend without a parent.
